  1. Spin Screen > replaced CP images with full-fledged buttons, this should improve their responsivity when clicking multiple times.

  2. Turn Summary Screen > can now press spacebar to close screen.
Spin Screen > can now press spacebar to close screen.
Main Screen > can now press spacebar to click done turn.

  3. From previous thread: “Even after picking a VP, I am getting the message now on 10 straight turns after that I have secured the nomination…”

Me too. This has happened both times I’ve played the game since updating.

  4. Save Game > opens by default to proper folder.
Save Game > shows only .sav files.
Save Game > automatically appends .sav to file name if not inputed by user.

I noticed that the latest update only allows one to edit the candidates. When will the other functions be available again?

Also, I got an error message when trying to load by edited game.

    Graphics look great though

  6. Main Screen > fixed bug with repeated “You have secured the nomination.” message at beginning of turn.

  7. @Erik,

“What about implementing the popular vote option already so we can start making state by state scenarios?”

Yes, this is planned to coincide with the release of a marquee 2014 scenario, Kentucky Senate.

  8. @Jonathan,

“I noticed that the latest update only allows one to edit the candidates. When will the other functions be available again?”

It will be slowly expanded. No ETA.

  9. @Jonathan,

“Also, I got an error message when trying to load by edited game.”

Do you mean you have a custom campaign, and when you start a game you get an error message?

If so, is this an edited campaign that worked fine with the previous version, or is it a new one edited with v. 1.6.6?

  10. @Anthony

I created it with the 1.6.6 version. I edited candidates in campaign editor. Saved it. Loaded it to play it and I get “access violation”. I just double checked and it happened again.

  11. This is weird? Which folder should it be located in. I don’t see the saved campaign in my President Infinity folder. Odd. I saved it and it comes up as a saved scenario that I should be able to load.

  12. If you open the campaign in the Campaign Editor, it will give the path to the files on the main editor screen. Does that help?

  13. Campaign Editor > fixed bug where didn’t save custom campaigns properly, made unable to start custom campaigns.

Workaround until the latest internal version is released containing this bug fix: if you are editing a campaign using v. 1.6.6, once you have saved your custom campaign, go to the official 2016 (or relevant source campaign) folder and copy the ads.xml file. Then go to your custom campaign folder (the path will be displayed on the main screen of the Campaign Editor), and paste the ads.xml file. The scenario should now run.

  14. By in-game pop-up help, do you mean a system that does not require opening the browser to view help files?
