President Infinity 2021 – v. 1.1

Note: only Windows currently. Mac version will be released soon.

President Infinity 2021 v. 1.1 for Windows has been released!

This release replaces the Polling system, redoes significant amounts of the user interface, and fixes many bugs.

You can now ‘add a game‘ for President Infinity 2021! (Note that if you’re already on subscription and a President Infinity owner, you are covered for President Infinity 2021 until your subscription expires.)

Note: if you have campaigns you have made from President Infinity Classic, it is recommended that you back these up first. Although there should be no problems loading and playing them, this simply errs on the side of caution. If the campaign formatting is unknown, the campaign will be re-written to disk using the new formatting without backing up the original version. If a campaign XML file’s syntax has to be updated, it will backup automatically, however.

See notes below. This version will not overwrite your existing Classic (3.1.1j) release install (if applicable), so you can play the new official version while still playing your previously installed Classic version.

Limited Editor.

Installation instructions:

Windows: download (see below) and run the installer.

Windows playing notes: if in full-screen mode, use Alt + Tab to switch back to your other apps when in the game.

If you are a President Infinity owner on subscription (or if you purchased President Infinity within the last year), you are eligible for this upgrade.

This is a comprehensive update.

  1. @Ben “The lack of the “voter detail” option, has me sticking to Classic.”

    Can you say more? What are you referring to exactly?

    @Andres,

    Thanks for this – I’ll attempt to replicate this bug.
