(Note: President Forever 2016 has been renamed to President Infinity.)
Windows President Infinity v. Amundsen – Test Release – 1.6.8 has been released!
This is the third President Infinity release for Windows. If you are a President Forever 2016 for Windows owner, you are eligible for this upgrade.
This update makes a significant number of bug fixes, modifies the Main Screen UI, adds a ‘Seats’ viewing mode on the Main Screen, and changes the Republican convention to Cleveland, Ohio.
Note: the Campaign Editor currently is limited to a Candidate Editor and Endorser Editor. This will be expanded with future releases.
This is a Test Release, not an official release. There will probably be various bugs in this release. You can download a Test Release by requesting a re-download e-mail at the link below.
Important: when you receive the e-mail, you will want to download the file from the “win president infinity” link. You also will have a new keycode included in the e-mail for President Infinity. The game will then install to a new folder, and have a new desktop icon.
If for some reason there is no “win president infinity” link in your e-mail and you are a President Forever 2016 for Windows owner, please notify us and we will fix that for you.

Being able to hit the space key in lieu of hitting “OK” would be great (i.e on barnstorming).
The only problem is that the space bar will no longer work for multiple taks; including finishing the turn. This makes the game even more long than the previous version.
Correction, the space bar works for finishing the turn, it doesn’t work for other taks such as attending an interview and other taks that the previous version had.
@Nick and Andres,
Got it – noted.
@Nick and Andres,
This has been changed in the latest internal, so you should be able to spacebar through more screens and so speed up turns.
Thanks Anthony! Looking forward to some of the other features that you have coming.
@Anthony
It looks like the 2000 scenario will be the next one added. I’d just like to propose making Colin Powell a “what-if” option, because he was in all the magazines as being a preferred candidate before the primaries began. I still remember waiting in the dentist office and seeing Colin Powell mentioned as the likely nominee in three magazines.
3 questions. When do we get Grimes vs McConnel? Bush Vs.Clinton vs Ross P. and the option to have states called as they are on tv on election night?
@Jonathan,
Noted.
@Aron,
Kentucky 2014 should be released before the Nov. elections. Oct. is my guess. 1992 and modified election night no ETA yet.
The Washington Examiner wrote an article asking if Huntsman would run as an Independent. It might be nice to include him as one, possibly: http://washingtonexaminer.com/would-huntsman-run-as-an-independent/article/2553532?custom_click=rss
I would recommend this as a decision for the Steering Council, when the next round of candidates is voted on.
