I below the error you are describing?
After the spinning portion of a turn, there is an automatic crash of the application with the following error:
Access violation at address 009D1154, accessing address FFFFFFC8.
This is occurring on mac. I updated to the latest version and am seeing the same error.

Does this happen consistently? Is it on any particular campaign? Are you starting with any non-default options (multiple human players, for example)?
This happens on the 2016 campaign. Using pretty standard default options. (One candidate)
