  1. Although there have been several President Infinity sneak-peeks since then, this is the first official update of PI since November 20th, 2016!

  2. Nice update, all looking really good, loving the new features.

One strange thing, one of my custom scenarios seems to jump straight to the convention and doesn’t show the primary results popup. (It is for a scenario where I have applied changes under the new update).

It seems to be when selecting a party without primaries. Parties with primaries show the results.

Is this intentional, if so it is a nice addition not to have to spacebar through everyone elses’ primaries.

  3. @Daons, thanks for the feedback! Noted – I’ll check whether that’s how it’s supposed to be.

  4. @Anthony
Maybe I’m not seeing it, but is there any way you could add Control of Congress in the editor?

  5. Small bug, I’ve noticed candidates don’t seem to withdraw in primaries at the moment in the latest version.

  6. looks great! Glad to see you’re still updating the game. Is there any place where I can share/download custom campaigns?

  7. Did you fix the election night programming that was ruined in a previous upgrade? Because I’m not going to play the game for 4 hours to see the MESS that “election night” became when you made the 2016 version.

  8. @Aaron,

I don’t know exactly what you are referring to, but any known problems with election night have been fixed.

  9. Is it just me, or do other people have this problem? Random states drop to having 1 delegate, and their vote totals divide among a random number of random candidates. It appears to shift from poll to poll. For example, in my current Scott Walker game (2016), Washington dropped to the above in the first poll, with the vote totals reportedly split evenly among Jindal, Trump, Graham, Rubio, and Carson with everyone else at 0; the next Monday, it had returned to normal, but now Wyoming and Utah have the problem. The same was true on the Democrats’ side, but the states were different.

  10. For some reason when I’m playing the primary campaign the game gets slower and less responsive as time goes on. The mouse starts to move slowly and i need to click things multiple times for it to register.

But, if I restart the game, it gets faster again as if I’ve cleaned some stored memory out or something.

Is there a fix for this yet? I know someone else mentioned this problem before in a past update.

  11. @Thomas,

That is the workaround. This is a known bug and on the to-do list to fix.
