Platforms
President Infinity is supported on the following platforms:
- Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10, Mac OS X 10.8.5 to macOS 10.14 (Mojave)
Resolution (Windows)
President Infinity requires your display resolution be set at 800×600 or above. It is also recommended you use High Color (16 bit) or higher for your display. If you have your desktop set to a resolution significantly higher than this, the game window may be fairly small. To change this, you can adjust your desktop resolution to a lower setting.
To change these settings, click on the Windows Start menu button, then click on Control Panel, then click on Display. Finally, click the Settings tab in the window that pops up.
Font Size (Windows)
President Infinity also may have display problems if you are using Large or Extra Large Fonts. To change your fonts to normal, click on Control Panel, then click on Display. Finally, click the Appearance tab, and set font size to normal.
Q. How do I set the game to full-screen mode?
A. President Infinity is designed to run in windowed mode. For Windows, if the game is too small, please see the section above entitled ‘Resolution’.
Q. Abbreviations on the map are not in the right place. What should I do?
A. If the abbreviations on the main map are out of alignment with the map image, Windows is probably resizing aspects of the game automatically. If you right-click on your Desktop and select Display settings, it should have a ‘Change the size of’ setting. If it isn’t set to 100%, try setting it to 100% and run the game again.
Q. The game doesn’t save my highscores – what should I do?
A. Try running the game with Administrator privileges. On Windows 10, right-click on the game icon and select ‘Run as Administrator’.

I purchased President Infinity some time ago. I’ve tried to follow the old link sent to me, but it won’t let me re-install on a new Mac.

You download them, then start President Infinity, click New game, click Change campaign, then Import. Select the file you’ve just downloaded.
Hi there,
I’m wanting to create a custom campaign with a location that isn’t based on the whole of the UK as shown in Prime Minister Infinity. However, when I go to do this, I have to base it off the whole of the UK and so can’t create the areas that I want to. Please could you advise me in what to do as I can’t find anything anywhere online.

Hello,
I re-downloaded president infinity recently and I have a big problem.
On more than one scenario the game breaks towards close to the end. Save files become invalid, the games freezes, and the campaign trails actions break. I tried the auto save and it breaks and am unable to load previous saves.
Please let me know of any solutions,

Solution: wait until the port to a new tool chain is completed, which should be February.
Workaround: start with fewer candidates ‘on’, and at a later start date.
How do I skip directly to a presidential nominating convention in campaign mode in President Infinity?
@Darius, there’s no way to do that. You can start directly in the general when starting a new game, though.

My first suggestion is to make sure you are running the game with Administrator privileges. Right click, Run as Administrator.

Hi, purchased President Infinity recently and running it on my laptop which is about 18 months old and runs the latest Windows OS. Almost every time when playing in the primaries I get to somewhere around January/February and the game freezes. It won’t let me click on anything, and I can’t seem to figure out how to get round this.
Any tips?

The inflationary index for fundraising is 2200. What is this, and how can it be determined?
@IndependentPerson, That determines general fundraising levels. Make it higher to increase fundraising in a campaign.
I press k and something called the kickstarter campaign is enabled. What’s the difference?
It was a feature added in conjunction with a KickStarter campaign. It simply allows for some extra candidates who were KickStarter supporters.
how do I add islands to a non-contiguous area in the campaign editor? i.e. islands

I keep getting the error “Cannot write quotation_number.txt file.” Is there a way to rectify this? Also when I try to load a custom scenario, I get an error message that it cannot write the necessary file.

The Florida 2018 Senate sub-game does not seem to function in President Infinity whatsoever. This happens whether I use 0, 1, or 2 human players, and on any mode of difficulty. Either the screen freezes and the game crashes, or the main screen fails to ever load. Could you please get this checked out for me? Also, the download link for the new Prime Minister Infinity Canada beta does not appear to be working, either.
I could not choose a VP candidate in the players screen once the primaries and the convention ended as the other candidates disappeared and cannot be offered VP anymore. Is there a possibility to find those disappeared candidates?
